- Examine the impact of dementia upon a home caregiver.
- Introduce some fundamental MAP/Montessori principles, showing how they may be applied to support a loved one with dementia at home, and to support the caregiver.
- Highlight practical MAP applications to the home caregiving environment.
- Examine some critical actions that caregivers should take in order to ensure that their ability to provide care is optimized, whilst ensuring at the same time their own well-being is protected.
