Leadership Essentials
Leadership Essentials (LE) is a comprehensive six-month leadership development program for emerging and mid-level leaders offered through Loyola University Maryland in collaboration with Leadership Howard County. From December - June, the program brings together a diverse cohort of 30-35 leaders from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to advance their leadership skills. Participants benefit from one-on-one coaching, in-person sessions on leadership topics, and a team-based Community Impact Project to support a local nonprofit organization.
Leadership Essentials Women's Group
Leadership Essentials Women’s Group (LEWG) is a four-month program designed to develop leadership skills for women who navigate similar challenges in the workplace. LEWG offers a supportive and inclusive environment for a small, diverse group of women to enhance their leadership abilities. Participants tackle common issues such as finding their voice, navigating transitions, and balancing personal and professional responsibilities. Through one-on-one coaching and in-person sessions with expert facilitators, participants gain confidence and learn practical strategies to succeed.
Coaching Certificate Program
Loyola University Maryland’s NEW Coaching Certificate Program offers something for everyone - a class or two to become more "coach-like" or all five courses for certification. This dynamic and student-centered program intertwines critical self-reflection, discernment, and principles of justice to train individuals in coaching. Each course provides demonstrations, hands-on practice, peer support, mentor coaching, and continuous reflection to learn and practice coaching mindsets and strategies.
