Reviews
"We value our partnership with Loyola ASPIRE and the opportunities they provided our school leaders to connect, learn, and strengthen their leadership."
-Gregg Moffitt, Director of Principal Development for Washington D.C. Public Schools
I enjoyed the videos and rich conversation. My biggest challenge prior to this workshop was having some of these conversations with the entire staff instead of one-on-one. It probably was uncomfortable for me so I avoided it. Now, I realize the necessity of having these conversations with the greater group.
My biggest challenge prior to this workshop was overcoming staff members implicit biases and helping them to identify when they are being biases. Through this workshop, I was able to reflect on my own biases as well as others. I also learned through the Iceberg activity some ways that I can be proactive in identifying the negative stereotypes you have about others.
