          Description

          Are you interested in growing your own personal finance skills? Explore topics of credit, investing, taxes, and retirement alongside Dr. and CPA. JP Krahel. 

          Dr. Krahel is an associate professor of accounting at Loyola University Maryland. He has established a VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) clinic for the York Road community and has taught financial literacy to youth groups, senior groups, and everyone in between.

          Schedule:

          • Session 1: Tuesday September 12th: Basics of Debt and Credit
          • Session 2: Tuesday September 19th: Risks and Benefits of Investing
          • Session 3: Tuesday September 26th: Taxes and Tax Planning
          • Session 4: October 3rd: Retirement Planning

          All classes will be taught in-person from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Enoch Pratt Free Library (400 Cathedral Street Baltimore, MD 21201)

          Registration is preferred but walk-ins are accepted.
