The 2025 Montessori Experience: Refresher Courses & More!
Theme: Adaptation: Innovating and Thinking for the Future
            Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
            Dates: February 14 – 16, 2025

Dr. Maria Montessori emphasized the importance of adaptation in her 1946 London Lectures, stating, “We must accept adaptation as the basis upon which we can build a concept of education.” This serves as a call to all Montessori educators to adopt creative, innovative, and diverse approaches that address the universal human need to adapt to our evolving times and environments.

            Learning Outcomes

Join us for our annual conference as we dive into essential topics that underscore the concept of adaptation across each plane of development, Montessori scientific pedagogy, and how we can evolve our knowledge to better serve the needs of Montessori educators and children.

Participants will have the chance to take part in AMI Refresher Courses and Weekend Workshops, aimed at enhancing their grasp of core Montessori principles.

            Attendees will learn how to:

            • Investigate effective interventions and connection-focused therapies tailored to support children with developmental exceptionalities.
            • Discover activities that foster crucial developmental skills and abilities, building upon a child’s natural instincts.
            • Learn about our responsibility as Montessori educators to help children achieve specific writing standards in the core curriculum before they transition from the elementary experience.
            • Participate in small group discussions to explore supportive strategies.
            • Understand the significance of maintaining a prepared environment and adapting ourselves to embody the Montessori philosophy when working with children.
