Ever been part of meeting when you had the feeling the team was not thinking broadly, deeply, or long-term enough. Strategic thinking is a way of approaching organizational decisions and challenging the current thinking. Not only your thinking, but the thinking of others on your team. It is challenging the current way of doing business by thinking several level up and down, taking the perspectives of others, and think long-term.
Strategic thinking is not reserved for only the c-suite. It is a valuable skill at every level. In this workshop participants explore a model that outlines areas for individuals and teams to explore to think strategically.
This 2.0-hour workshop examines four elements of strategic thinking. What it is in general and what it is in their organization.
Participants will: (1) examine a model for strategic thinking, (2) analyze their current position against the model and assess themselves, (3) create an action plan to develop their executive presence.
