            This site accompanies Guiding A Montessori Elementary Classroom hosted by Aquila Nidus. It only offers the CEU certificate through Loyola University Maryland and does not contain any training material.

            Guiding a Montessori Elementary Classroom online workshop, a one-day event facilitated by the esteemed AMI Teacher Trainer Greg MacDonald in Nigeria. This workshop will offer Professional Development from three different perspectives: The Montessori Elementary Guides must deal with a variety of tasks in order to effectively deliver Cosmic Education to children. These tasks may be organized into three major categories, which we will examine in turn as this workshop unfolds.

            Learning Outcomes

            Learning Objectives:

            1. We will revisit Montessori theory, discovering that the various topics covered in our training is interdependent and interconnected. We will also find that Montessori theory offers us invaluable support for our day today work with children.

            2. We will then examine some critical elements of our work, which when consistently
            attended to nurture the maturation of a Montessori elementary class. Our focus upon
            these tasks also optimize each child’s opportunity to develop to potential.

            3. Finally, the workshop will introduce various techniques and strategies that can be
            implemented immediately in the classroom. Included in this part of the workshop will be some of the practical advice for teachers that Dr. Montessori included in her published works.
