This course accompanies the online course Inclusion in the Elementary Environment hosted by Trillium Montessori. It only offers the CEU certificate through Loyola University Maryland and does not contain any course material. This new course is designed for Montessori guides from the toddler level all the way through adolescents, as well as school administrators and support staff. Special education teachers who are in Montessori environments will also benefit from the Montessori foundation of this course.
Christine breaks things down into four main learning modules: Inclusion: What it is and How it works, Understanding a Child’s Behavior, Responsive Instruction, and Responsive Guidance. Workbooks and handouts include a checklist for an inclusive Montessori classroom, inquiry observation forms, and ideas for scaffolding instruction; just to name a few!
