At the end of the workshop participants will be able to
- Deepen understanding of today’s children and their families by exploring behavioral trends, the impact of societal pressures, and the growing variability in learners' needs
- Develop an inclusive mindset and teaching approach by examining neurodiversity, shifting from a medical deficit model to a social model of disability, and embracing Montessori principles of observation and human tendencies.
- Build skills for creating responsive and calm classroom environments through strategies that promote self- and co-regulation, structured routines, and proactive guidance.
- Design environments and practices that foster belonging by preparing sensory-aware, predictable classrooms that support connection, shared power, and inclusive rituals.
