AI for Leaders: Explore, Understand, and Apply - Virtual Workshop
Artificial Intelligence is already reshaping how we work, decide, and lead — and every leader needs a basic understanding of how it’s changing the landscape. This workshop is designed as a hands-on, approachable introduction for leaders at all levels who are ready to explore AI’s potential and challenges.
Over the course of two highly interactive sessions (4 hours total), you’ll:
- See what today’s leading AI tools can do — and where they fall short.
- Try real-world exercises using generative AI to solve leadership challenges.
- Discuss practical risks like bias, ethics, and responsibility in AI use.
- Begin building your own leadership lens for navigating AI’s opportunities and pitfalls.
You’ll leave with:
- A stronger understanding of how AI is already impacting leadership.
- A flavor of how different tools work and what to watch for.
- New ideas for responsibly experimenting with AI in your work.
- A foundation for deeper learning and strategic leadership with AI.
- This is not a technical deep dive—it's a practical starting point to help you move, think, and lead more confidently in an AI-enabled world.
Participation is capped at 20 to allow for focused instruction and individualized support.

Workshop Schedule
This two-day workshop will be held online via Zoom on the following dates:
- Tuesday, June 3, 2025 - 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST
- Wednesday, June 4, 2025 - 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST
A Zoom link and all required materials will be emailed to participants prior to the workshop.
Attendance is required at both course sessions - sessions will not be recorded to view if absent.

Requirements
Technology Requirements:
Hardware Requirements: This program can be taken on either a PC, Mac, or Chromebook.
Software Requirements: Software must be installed and fully operational before the program begins.
- PC: Windows 8 or later.
- Mac: macOS 10.6 or later.
- Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible. Cookies and JavaScript must be enabled
- The latest Adobe Reader/Acrobat Reader (free download available at https://get.adobe.com/reader/ )
- Any modern Office suite: Microsoft Office, Apple iWork, OpenOffice, or LibreOffice
Other:
- Reliable internet connection. Broadband cable or highspeed DSL is recommended for optimal experience.
- E-mail account (to be able to register and to receive e-mail from the course system regarding registration, course status, etc.)
